Luffy's Past! The Red-Haired Shanks

Previously Luffy has been shot. A sudden pause and Luffy asks Zoro once more. "Join my crew or you can die here instead"  His rubber body absorbs the bullets stretching out long lines from his torso. They fly back out towards the marines, many of them go down. Zoro is absolutely dumbfounded. Captain Morgan at this point has realized Luffy has eaten a devil fruit, and after Zoro asks him, Luffy responds that he indeed has eaten one, the Gomu Gomu no Mi (Rubber-Rubber Fruit.) Captain Morgan is furious at Luffy as he hates devil fruit users, he begins to swing his mighty axe arm at Luffy, but Luffy has his devil fruit abilities. He stretches his legs and flies high into the sky, he chants out his move "Gomu Gomu PISTOL!" his right arm extends and extends till it pummels Morgans face straight into the ground. He looked like a fly who was stomped on. Zoro is free, and has joined Luffy and is on the look for a navigator to direct them to the "Red Line."

Luffy's Crew begins

Luffy has begun his adventure and is moving on to find his crew of pirates. He has already encountered his potential partner. Coby the boy who was on the ship with Luffy at the beginning has actually decided to become a marine. Luffy was alright with his decision and actually encouraged him to become the best. At the time he also beat down a bunch of marines on the ship and a fat pirate lady trying to boss around Coby.

He sets sail to a nearby village to find some meat (he loves meat, and it restores his health and energy to fight). He exits the store holding meat in all hands and in his mouth. In the meantime a young lad with green mossy looking hair was tied to a pole all beat up and ready to be killed by a bunch of marines. They cocked their levers and aimed at him slightly above his chest and prepared for the command to fire. Their boss who was a very tall, and masculine man had an axe as one hand, gave the permission to fire. Luffy jumps in and gets shot...

Key points:

Monkey D. Luffy a young teenager living in a world populated by humans and numerous other races including mermaids and mermen "Fish-men" (A race of fish/human hybrids). Giants and dwarves. The world is split into two by a line called the Red Line that leads onto the "New World." Luffy at an early age, accidentally ate a "devil" fruit. A strange fruit that tastes disgusting, makes you unable to swim but, gives you super human powers. In Luffy's case he's a rubber-man...
